What Makes Up a Good Team Meeting?

Perhaps an unpopular opinion- but I am a big fan of a great team meeting. ๐Ÿ’ช

Now, I'm not talking about unproductive meetings that are run ineffectively and that everybody dreads having to attend. I'm talking about meetings that promote collaboration, connection, and alignment. ๐Ÿ™‚

Because this is what I'm currently hearing from employees in the work I do with organizations:

"We're starving to reduce uncertainty and ambiguity about our roles." ๐Ÿ˜ž

While many employees appreciate their leaders' efforts to make our lives easier by eliminating meetings, canceling too many meetings has left many employees feeling the need for increased alignment and clarity. 

Because it's all about balance, here's the trick I want to share with you. โœ…

Consider engaging in more employee listening to determine what meetings need to stay on the calendar.
