Most organizations have leaders who care deeply about the collective voice of their employees. After administer a survey, they start analyzing the data together, debriefing with one another, and trying to decide what actions to take to move the needle for their employees.

But simultaneously, they're failing to communicate all of that to their employees on the backend of the survey experience.

To improve in this area, there's a simple formula for communication.

Send consistent messages to your employees that say, “We heard you say this, so we are doing this.”

I know that sounds simple, but most organizations don't do it well. If you can grow in this area, you'll be miles ahead of most organizations.
